Ford Focus ST Turnier turned into a pick-up camera car. Lightweight seat installed on the bed
The facelifted Ford Focus ST has received an interesting pickup conversion.
It’s a “camera tracking unit” or in other words a camera car based on the Focus ST Turnier facelift version introduced mid-2014 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Gone are the third rear side windows and the tailgate as the car has received a pickup conversion with a short bed incorporating a lightweight seat and camera mountings.
Built in UK specification, the Focus ST pickup does not seem to have the stock car’s central exhaust pipes as these would have been obstructed by the added camera-related hardware so now these have been repositioned underneath the car. Other changes include additional lights mounted below the rear bumper while the central section of the plastic/plexiglass rear window can be opened by sliding it left/right.
We don’t know whether this is the gasoline or diesel version but we remind you the Focus ST facelift can be had with a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 250 HP & 360 Nm or with a 2.0-liter TDCi rated 185 HP & 400 Nm.
Deliveries of the Ford Focus ST are programmed to kick off early this year.
