Andreas Bakkerud was er zo dicht bij, maar op het laatste moment door een mankement aan z’n Focus RS RX de strijd moest opgeven, het is niet duidelijk wat er precies mis was met de Focus RS RX. Dat ze balen is goed voor te stellen.

Damn… bad luck seems to have struck Andreas Bakkerud too here at Lydden Hill yesterday. He made it all the way to the final with a good position on the grid, but unfortunately an issue with his car prevented him from being competitive for the rest of the final. That’s a huge bummer!
Especially since he was killing it all weekend, winning one of his Qualifying Races and putting down crazy fast times all day. I was really stoked with our progress on the Focus RS RX’s overall speed this weekend, but there’s still more development work to be done.
