2016 Ford Focus RS to cost $35,730?
Ford’s highly-anticipated Focus RS could carry a base price of $35,730 when it goes on sale in the United States.
According to a configuration test page uncovered by Jalopnik, the Focus RS will cost $11,360 more than the Focus ST when it goes on sale next spring.
The page also revealed the model will be available with a variety of options – including a sunroof, a navigation system and 19-inch “Premium painted forged alloy wheels with Michelin Cup” tires – which will result in a fully loaded variant costing $42,275.

Ford has declined to confirm the pricing data but we’ll remind you the Focus RS features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that develops 350 PS (345 bhp / 257 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission which sends power to an all-wheel drive system with a dynamic torque vectoring control that promises to provide “a new level of handling capability and driver enjoyment.”
